Last Friday we visited the veterinary college. We were shown around by an employee named Jean, who was very friendly and attentive. The college's facilities (campus/veterinary hospital) seem very good. However, the bursar's office was not at all welcoming. People who deal with the public need to be more helpful.
Classes resume on February 15, 2022. No COVID protocols in place. My class is in a small room without air conditioning; there's no social distancing between the desks, and the students are practically on top of each other. Furthermore, Unip has combined the morning and evening classes. Unacceptable conditions.
I took the Fuvest entrance exam twice at that place and I can say for sure: the facilities are awful! Terrible ventilation, windows that barely open, and one fan for a room that could easily fit 70 students. I didn't go to university there, and I wouldn't go just for the experience of taking the entrance exam.
Poorly qualified professors and zero organization!! They don't care about students who work and pay for their studies!! If you're not a rich kid, don't even bother going to UNIP!! Because classes don't have fixed schedules and there are always surprises that you'll have to pay for without anyone telling you!
This college is awful. Classrooms lack proper infrastructure, have terrible acoustics (you can't hear what the professors are saying properly), no air conditioning, and the few fans in the classrooms aren't enough. The professors are poorly qualified. And then there's the farce they make of the ENADE exam.
Terrible service, they treat us like they're doing us a favor... They don't answer calls, the reception staff always have a sour face... Many teachers are good and qualified, but others leave much to be desired... The organization is good. But there's a lack of investment to improve student training.
