Before you apply: five checks for this college

1. Confirm the World Directory entry F0007975 yourself at wdoms.org; the entry describes the school as it reported itself, not its recognition anywhere.
2. Ask the regional medical council (CRM) whether the school is currently recognised and whether its graduates are being registered this year.
3. Ask your own home regulator, in writing, whether a degree from Universidade Estadual do Tocantins (UNITINS) is accepted for licensing at home (for Indian students: the NMC requires the whole course, internship included, at the same institution).
4. Get the fee schedule and admission letter from the school's own office (direcao.augustinopolis@unitins.br), not from an agent, and pay only to the school's account.
5. Search the agent, consultancy or website you are dealing with on the fraud alerts page before paying anything.
