Excellent physical space and opportunities for human and professional development. A university committed to society and values ??such as Science, Life, and Faith, especially due to its Catholic origins – but this does not detract from its welcoming character towards students, professionals, and staff of other religious expressions.
It's a very cozy place and has security throughout. It's great for those who work there and even better for students. I just think they should review the entry process for people into the buildings, as anyone can enter and exit some without any identification. Apart from that, everything is very beautiful and has excellent parking.
This is one of the best universities in Brazil. I was there for my son's swimming competition in the Paraná state championship on October 18th and 19th, 2024 (for the 2-year-old category). The pool is an Olympic-sized 50m pool, and the event was organized by the Paraná Swimming Federation exclusively for registered athletes.
Regarding the distance learning courses: Good teachers and content. However, there is a need to improve the organization and communication between university departments. It takes a very long time to obtain the certificate of completion, even after submitting all assignments and paying all tuition fees.
I tried to do my postgraduate studies at PUC, but they kept stalling with the start date, and when it came time to cancel my enrollment and get my money back (as stated in the contract), they passed me from one representative to another. I don't know where the best university in the state is.
A university city that exemplifies the development of a region within a country, education is one of the fundamental pillars of society. It boasts spacious and modern facilities where the staff maintains excellent communication, providing the best experience for its students and visitors.
The Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná has a structure considered to be very good to excellent. Regarding teaching, I believe it is one of the best in Curitiba, on par with UFPR, which has always been the most sought-after university by students in the state of Paraná.
I am a PhD student in Philosophy at PUC and I am very happy in this place. The facilities are very beautiful, the bathrooms are always consistently clean, and the service at the office is efficient. Congratulations to the Marist Brothers and all the staff of the institution.
Near PUC-RS, it's a simple university. Highlights include the FTD arena (which has a planetarium) and the library. Otherwise, it's a campus with an okay garden, a polluted river nearby, and many impersonal building blocks. There are food courts in strategic locations.
After 30 years living in the city, I had the opportunity to get to know the inside of the University. Now I'm an Italian professor and I've discovered a beautiful set of facilities—impeccable, functional, and organized. It continues to be very well maintained.
I graduated between 2012-17. Many experiences and good memories. There were difficulties with bureaucratic issues, but nothing that hindered the experience. I returned there to do a postgraduate degree in 2018-19.
A very beautiful place that left its mark on me.
The professors are excellent and very knowledgeable. But the institution itself is completely disorganized. There's no alignment regarding information; each employee says something different. The same goes for the infrastructure—everything …
Excellent college, very spacious classrooms with several fans to cool the entire room, projectors at the front and sides so everyone can see, a little confusing for newcomers (like me, for example), but just ask a senior student. Very cozy, …
The content of the online Business Administration course still has a long way to go to be considered bad. MANY of the texts are created with AI and aren't even proofread. The photos show an example of a text about probability in statistical …
When trying to enroll in a distance learning postgraduate course (which caught my attention because of its internationally recognized professors), I realized that enrolling was more difficult than passing a medical school entrance exam. The …
I'm taking online courses, as I have with other courses. *I don't recommend it*, communication with professors is very poor. They have 48 hours to answer a question... and sometimes it's not clear whether it's "me" in the question or "them" …
Terrible experience with the online postgraduate program. The sales pitch is excellent, but the after-sales service is nonexistent. Furthermore, the classes are very weak, except for a few special guests who make a difference. However, it's …
The diploma department was informed that it would be open on January 13th from 9am-12pm and from 1pm-5pm. I arrived at 11:20am and the reception informed us that they were in an external meeting and would probably extend it to after lunch. …
I do not recommend it due to a lack of ethics on the part of the finance and marketing departments. There was a discrepancy in billing information; at the end of the first year, I was already paying almost triple the monthly fee stipulated …
It was great until they changed their methodology. My course dropped two points in the MEC (Brazilian Ministry of Education) rating; it's definitely not a good value for money in education. If you have problems, generally no one will solve …
The place is large and a bit confusing; I confess that the scattered maps don't help much! I've been studying there for 6 years and I can guarantee it's quite bureaucratic with internal problems, and unfortunately, the internal staff often …
My review is about the parking; they charge a lot. When it rains, the paper slips you put in the barcode reader get wet and everything jams. You pay, the place gets wet when it rains, you have to maneuver the car, park again, and go to the …
To speak of PUCPR is to think of innovation. Students can take advantage of everything a great university has to offer. From help in choosing a course, student support (PUC ACOLHE), support when thinking about a career (during courses and …
Despite some excellent professionals I know at PUC, my experience bringing my nephew to do a postgraduate course here in the state has been terrible. It's impossible to get through to the departments; it's a constant back-and-forth... and …
I'm willing to pursue postgraduate studies anywhere but PUCPR. I enrolled in a postgraduate program as a career strategy. Three months after starting classes, I changed careers and no longer needed the postgraduate course. The institution …
I'm in my final year and I'm already feeling nostalgic. PUCPR is truly exceptional in terms of content and professors. Of course, there are one or two professors who aren't so good, and the university lacks a renovated structure, like in …
The university is terrible. The architecture coordinator is incapable of responding to students. The administration also offers no support whatsoever. They asked us to go to PUC. They said "Talk to the team," but that didn't help either. …
One of the best, PUCPR University in Curitiba is a Multiversity, with excellent professors and quality courses, offering everything a student needs. It's a technologically advanced place, rich in the humanities, very clean and organized. …
Students, don't be fooled by PUC PR ON-LINE's after-sales service. Terrible service, they give you the most attention when it's time to sell, but when you need them, it takes them 6 hours to reply to a WhatsApp message, claiming that all …
The student services offered through the virtual secretariat are terrible. I've been waiting for over 10 days for a request. They don't respond on time. I tried other ways and it's impossible to contact a person to resolve the situation. …
Terrible experience!! I paid the registration fee for an online course, but I changed my mind within 7 days. According to article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code, I am entitled to a full refund of what I paid. However, PUCPR said they …
Excellent infrastructure and accessibility. There is plenty of covered area for walking (which is very good on rainy days), plenty of restrooms, parking spaces, elevators, ramps, and places to eat. There is a bus stop and subway station …
The worst choice I've ever made. I transferred to the pharmacy course in 2021 and I found the college very bad. Due to the professors' decision, I couldn't attend a subject I enrolled in because they judged that I wasn't qualified, even …
A large private university with campuses for medicine, arts, law, languages, computer science, and a business school. The campus boasts a huge library, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a park, and excellent cafes. They offer an excellent …
If you have the opportunity to do a postgraduate course at PUC, give it up! Look for any backwater university that charges you 80 reais a month, and I'm absolutely certain you'll receive much better service than at this institution. I …
I recently completed a postgraduate course and I do not recommend it. Many subjects were recorded using old videos from the pandemic era, employing references from that time without any updates. Student support is very weak; they hire …
The infrastructure is beautiful, and the professors are very dedicated, but there are several problems, such as the different treatment given to each course. If you study medicine, probably all your professors have doctorates, there's …
I'm a student in a specialization course at PUC (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), and my experience was the worst possible. I disagreed with one of the coordinators on a topic. And besides not being able to accept a …
The facilities are great! They provide most of what a student needs; in my case, a well-structured and large model-making workshop, Mac labs where you can even borrow a tablet, and a photography lab with a studio and various types of …
On February 7th, 2020, I received my diploma at this graduation ceremony, and after 5 years I was expecting a unique and wonderful moment. I arrived at the stadium at 8 am: a line to get in, half an hour just to get into the stadium. …
In 2018, I began my Advertising and Public Relations studies at the institution, struggling to pay the tuition and attend classes, which are far from my usual route (and in a dangerous area). In the third month, I experienced a major …
I was a student at PUC (Pontifical Catholic University) both in person and online. I suspended my in-person course because my mother passed away and I was devastated. I received no support from the university; they only advised me to …
They have a lot of structure to offer, but at the career fair the students don't know how to explain the course (????). I asked how the marketing course works and the student told her life story and said that the connection with the …
Dishonest university! I enrolled and after requesting cancellation and sending my information for a refund, I didn't receive the money I had paid. I contacted them several times via WhatsApp and they were never able to send proof of …
I graduated from this institution and, with authority to speak about it, I can say that a large part of my professors were exceptional people and highly competent mentors. However, the organizational structure of the institution, in …
I simply love PUC. One of the best things I've ever done was study here and get a full scholarship. You can spend the whole day at PUC. Nowadays, the restaurants have a student menu that's very affordable, plus there are many other …
Terrible online learning experience. I'm studying Neuroscience, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, and I wouldn't recommend this institution to anyone. Don't be fooled by the "reference professors," because you won't meet them. …
There is no control over who enters and exits the buildings, which I believe could create safety risks for the students. Parking costs R$5.00, and at the end of the month it becomes a significant expense for those who drive every day.
I did my postgraduate studies at PUC and it was wonderful. Now I contacted the distance learning department via WhatsApp and received incredibly poor service.
The representative was extremely rude. I will never enroll there again.
Terrible service, difficulty canceling, the attendant kept mocking the fact that the University would charge the semester fee even if the contract was canceled 12 days after the start of classes. Avoid institutions like this.
My experience with the distance learning system was awful.
Besides the cost-benefit ratio not being favorable, the professionals who are supposed to provide support seem totally unprepared. If you need any support from …
I don't know about the college itself, as I'm not a student.
But they deserve praise for helping the population with dentistry. I was there for the first time today, and I was able to talk to some people who have been …
Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, located in Prado Velho at Rua Imaculada Conceição, number 1155.
It is a private, Catholic educational institution in Brazil.
Spacious location with parking and green areas.
Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience.
I completed the entire course online, and in the final project, the dates for each stage were not on the same page as the project itself. The project required a …
Example of one of the worst parking management experiences I've ever seen.
PUC itself is great, I love the professors.
And yet, I only gave one star to the review, just because of all the stress I've …
It was very special, we were very well received, we were impressed with the organization, cleanliness, structure, the well-trained staff ready to answer our questions, everything was a 10/10, fantastic!
An excellent university, with diverse fields of study and an excellent location for competitive exams. However, the paid parking left something to be desired, despite having several available spaces.
Excellent university, committed professors, complete infrastructure, good learning environment with leagues organized by area of ??knowledge. I am very happy with our daughter's experience.
Terrible! People, don't go to this university, you'll be ripped off! I'm filing a lawsuit against them because they just kept my money. And they have a total disregard for the customer. …
Dear Sir/Madam,
I paid a fortune for enrollment and still haven't received a username/password to finalize the process of sending documentation/adjusting my schedule. I've been …
I studied at PUC at various levels of education and I must say that today I miss it very much.
The university has a reputation in the job market, but in the day-to-day life of …
All support to the teacher who was a victim of racism. It seems the institution preferred to punish the teacher and not the students who acted in a way that constitutes a crime.
There are a few good and true teachers there, really worthy. however the majority is not comprised with it, there are not bad teachers, they are ineffective which is worse. …
The structure and teaching are excellent, but the organizational aspect is very flawed. Students from outside Curitiba, in particular, do not receive adequate guidance.
The administrative/financial service during this quarantine is disappointing!!!
You can only talk to robots (AI), or via chat with uninformed people. I stayed …
The campus is very spacious, with several buildings for each area of ??knowledge, lots of technology, excellent professors, and a library full of knowledge. …
I am a Bachelor's degree student in Marketing through the ProUni program, currently in my second semester, and I would like to register my dissatisfaction. …
Excellent university. Qualified professors with extensive market experience. The service provided by the administrative offices could be improved.
Best private college in Paraná!
It has a huge and beautiful structure, a food court, a gym, a library with many open spaces for studying. …
Terrible! They've automated the customer service; nobody answers the phone, and the WhatsApp support only provides standardized responses.
The space is wonderful. I presented research in an amazing, hands-on room.
The campus is wooded, with good restaurant options...
A spacious, well-maintained, and highly organized facility, offering top-tier courses taught by excellent professionals.
I really liked it, although I couldn't solve what I needed.
But the infrastructure is world-class.
Congratulations.
It was in this institution that a Black professor of Psychology was silenced after denouncing racism. Lamentable.
I've been a student at PUCPR for 3 years, and I'm completely in love with everything! A wonderful place to study!
I am extremely dissatisfied with how PUCPR handles communication and tuition billing for the online course. …
The Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná is one of the best educational institutions in the capital. …
An institution that accepts the unscrupulous referee Lucas Casagrande as a member deserves 1 star.
They have the slogan of a multiversity, but the question arises: multiversity for whom? …
Besides being a temple of knowledge, it's one of the most beautiful places in the city!
I'm not a student, so I can't comment on the study or service at the Marist Group. …
The best in Paraná, without a doubt, a humanized education very different from UFPR.
Among the places I've visited, this one will certainly stay in my memory.
I love this college, I highly recommend it for both events and studies.
Amazing!
I'm a PUC alumnus and I get emotional every time I visit...
Not a fan of rich folks but it'll have to do for now. Classes are ok
I really Enjoy to Know about the History of this University.
I love this university and I want to take another course.
A peaceful, organized, welcoming, and historic place.
I really liked it, they are attentive to us.
A welcoming place, a place to call home!
