Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Short version: the site is free, it is an information service and a community, and it is not an agent, a college or a regulator. Last updated 25 September 2026.

What TrustMBBS is

TrustMBBS publishes a directory of medical schools drawn from the World Directory of Medical Schools, student reviews, first-person and news-sourced accounts of scams, a network of verified students who help newcomers, and, for India, seat and rank data from the Medical Counselling Committee's published documents. Everything is free to use. We do not sell seats, take fees from students, or accept payment from colleges or agents for listings or rankings.

What the information is, and is not

College listings reproduce what each school reported to the World Directory. A listing means the school exists and reported a programme; it is not a statement that the degree is recognised in any country. Recognition is decided by regulators, and we say so on every page.
Student reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them. Imported reviews come from public review platforms; reviews submitted here are email-verified and moderated for spam and abuse, not for accuracy.
Scam reports and stories are published only after email verification and moderation. A first-person report is the reporter's account; a news-sourced case summarises published reporting and cites its sources. People and businesses named are entitled to the presumption of innocence unless a court has found otherwise, and every report carries a link to dispute it.
NEET seat data is extracted from official MCC documents; our "seats open" figure before an official vacancy list is an estimate and is labelled as such. The MCC's own documents are final.
Verified students have had their identity, college and live location checked by a moderator. That is a check that they are real students at that college, not a background check or a guarantee of anything they do.

No advice, no guarantee

Nothing on this site is professional, legal or admission advice, and nothing is a guarantee of admission, recognition, fees or outcome. Decisions about where to study and whom to pay are yours, and the site's purpose is to give you the questions to ask and the records to check, not to answer them for you. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current and we correct errors when they are pointed out, but we cannot promise that any page is complete or up to date on the day you read it.

Using the site

Do not submit anything you know to be false, anything defamatory, or anyone else's private documents.
Do not scrape, copy or republish the directory, reviews or stories in bulk. Quoting a page with a link is fine.
Do not use the verified-student network to sell admissions, "packages" or anything a college or regulator does; listings that do are removed and the account is closed.
Do not attempt to access moderation, admin or other users' private data.

Disputes and removals

If you are named in a report and believe it is wrong, use the dispute form; the report is reviewed with your evidence and corrected, annotated or removed. If you wrote something and want it taken down, use the removal link in your verification email or contact us. If a story or review names you and you object, write to us with the page address and we will review it promptly.

Copyright
