I gave it 5 stars just for clarity, but I can't make an appointment online or by phone. I'm disabled and have chronic illnesses, so I can't leave my house. When I call the hospital, even the operator takes a long time to pick up, leaving me waiting for hours. How can I get an appointment? I haven't been able to get one for six months.
We went to the hospital at 7am and were forced to donate blood and leave at 11:30am. Everyone is an international doctor, they examine a patient for 25 minutes, their tea and coffee sessions are endless, there are 4 x-ray departments, only 2 of them are working, etc. etc. The management is bad, and the doctors are bad too.
Which hospital, who are you going to complain to? A patient who arrived by ambulance waited on a stretcher for an hour. The ambulance can't leave without delivering the patient, so the patient has been waiting in the emergency room for an hour. Then, when you call, they say there's no ambulance and you're on your own...
I had surgery at the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Mersin University Hospital Faculty of Medicine. They are all wonderful people, working selflessly. I felt safe and secure. I would like to thank all the professors and staff working in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department. May God bless them all. Regards...
What does it mean to give an appointment in February when it's October? You can't be normal! This is unbelievable! I have eye problems and I have school, I'm asking for an appointment as soon as possible, and they're telling me they'll schedule it at the end of the first semester. You guys are driving me crazy!
I've been trying to make an appointment for days. I'm reaching the switchboard, but the department they're connecting to isn't possible. They don't answer. I ask the switchboard if there's no one there or if the phone is broken. They say no. If we can't get an appointment, what are they doing at the surgery?
There are 4 x-ray rooms. Only one of them is working. Even though I was an urgent patient, the queue took 1.5 hours, and then I went and complained about it. It turned out the others were just chilling out in the back. They said the results would come in half an hour, but I'm still waiting for 5 hours.
Our relative has been in an accident, we're on the road, nobody's with them, we're calling the hospital, and they've put a worthless excuse for a human being on the operator team who's only good at being rude to citizens; they can't even manage to give proper information... It's a shame, a real shame.
If I could give a 0, I would... The hospital is very dirty, the phones are never answered, you can't get an examination even if you pay because all the doctors are at a congress. If you can make an appointment, you wait for 3 hours because five people were given appointments at the same time.
Don't go there. The most ridiculous system I've ever seen. They took the 1st appointment to 3rd. Who came first? What do I understand? They are humiliating people for making appointments. I'm not happy with both the system and the doctor. In one word, it's beyond disgusting.
I stayed in the derma department for about 15 days. The sweetest and most cheerful nurses I have ever met in my life were so attentive that I cannot describe them. The dermatology service nurses are 10/10. I would like to thank each and every one of them for their service.
4 | 5 - However, ENT Polyclinic and related DEPARTMENTS 5 | 5 … ?????????? | Prof. Dr. Derya Ümit TALAS and Prof. Dr. Yusuf VAY?SO?LU | We feel obliged to THANK them. Their interest and approach were WONDERFUL. May God bless their work and strength … ?? …
God forbid. If possible, if it's urgent, try the city hospital or state hospital first. Even if it's urgent, pay the extra and go to a private hospital. It's only called urgent in name... I don't know about polyclinics, but medical emergency is regrettable.
Regarding Hygiene:
1- The toilet located right next to the cafeteria outside is in really bad condition. I'm not saying anything about the toilets inside the hospital, but the one outside is truly awful. There was no soap. Let's be a little more careful.
The ambulance brought me to this hospital. I had a fracture and needed surgery. They didn't do anything. Later, I went to another hospital, and the doctor who performed the surgery was furious. I was late for the surgery and now I have a foot infection.
We made an appointment for my mother with Professor Vehbi Erçolak from the MEU Faculty of Medicine's Oncology Clinic and went for a checkup. Although the appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM, we were only able to enter the examination room …
On July 1st I went for a preliminary examination for the surgery. I saw the assistant Drs at the thoracic surgeon. They called me to the polyclinic again. On July 31st I was admitted to the hospital again. There were 6 assistant Drs. Anyone …

The hospital is very expensive, with high prices for foreigners. An emergency ambulance will cost you 6,000 TL or more. Treatment, depending on your illness, starts at 2,000 TL. The treatment was poor; I had a dislocated shoulder; they even …

The best example of the difficulty and inaccessibility of the healthcare system is that if you have money, you get service, but it's slow and cumbersome. Otherwise, even filming is postponed for months. Just like everywhere else, healthcare …
They're good at hygiene, but getting information from the staff and doctors is so difficult; they barely even look you in the face. It shouldn't be this hard to answer. People wait for hours because all they do is keep you waiting. We ask a …
They can't do the tests because of the workload. Based on what you've described, they just prescribe medication. You explain the situation to a young, newly qualified doctor or intern. They then explain the prescription written by the other …
The appointment system is a disgrace. There is no answer from the hospital even when I call 182. I have been trying to make an appointment for days. I have been calling the operators and it only takes 2 hours to connect. When I connect, the …
Emergency Room: (Adults and children, it doesn't matter) It's utter chaos. There's zero coordination from security to doctors. Patients with the same symptoms are admitted first. If you ask, they'll say it's in order of urgency, but believe …
We made an appointment for my daughter at the Pediatric Neurology Department at 13:30. We also paid an extra fee for a specialist to see her, so we preferred a private examination. We came here and there were 7-8 lines in front of us. It is …

A hospital that doesn't deserve the money they receive for any of the healthcare services they provide, hates communicating with patients, and never answers the phones!!!!! Beyond appalling. It's always packed; you can't get an appointment, …
Some people here (especially the nurses) are undertakers, I think, forced to work here. That nurse who broke my mother's teeth in the intensive care unit, who ate sunflower seeds even after I told her her chest condition was worsening, who …
Professor Tayla Kara is an excellent person; she was very kind and attentive throughout the examination. As for Professor Erdem Akbay, there's a term used in Central Anatolia: "the best kind of person," and he truly is an excellent individual.
The so-called semi-private and public hospitals are better than this. Pathology results haven't come back for a month. Sick people shouldn't be kept waiting this long. We already waited a month and a half for an appointment, then they took …
There is private security and an information desk at the entrance. Directional signs and signage are very inadequate. Cleanliness and hygiene are good, and staff observe social distancing rules, but unfortunately, visitors and patients do …

I'm really curious, what's the reason you don't act like this? Did someone tell you to act like this? I went in at 11:30, they came in at 1:30, they did an EKG, I left at 8:00 a.m. Three blood samples were taken. Thank you, it was …
**We offer unlimited service; we are with you everywhere for the peace and health of your loved ones. With our expert team in elderly care, we provide uninterrupted support in your home, health centers, or wherever needed.**
It's a comprehensive university hospital, and all the staff are working tirelessly. There's a bit of a wait during the surgery, but that's probably due to the high volume of work. Thank you for all your hard work, everyone.
I called to confirm an appointment, but the woman transferred me. The phone rang at least 20 times before I looked at it. The conversation was very rude. How do you hire people as secretaries? This is awful and disgraceful.
My son was in intensive care and the pediatric surgery ward.
He received excellent care, and we were pleased, but we needed some positive energy. We received a smile, kind words, and we got that from Ms. Berna. She was …
Like any university hospital, it's a busy, large building with ample space, so walking around can be a bit time-consuming for patients. May God protect everyone from needing a doctor and never leave them without one.
I took on the responsibility of keeping my grandfather in bed for a week. The nurses are really caring and respectful. They shouldn't have entered the room without knocking. ? The staff are wonderful people. ?? …
I have never seen such indifference. As a medical school student, I felt embarrassed on some of their behalf. They answer without even looking up. I am talking about the assistants in the dermatology polyclinic.
I was treated for urticaria. My doctor showed great care and diligence.
Despite this, the cause could not be determined.
It was interpreted as itching of unknown cause. I sincerely thank my doctor. He …
I was admitted to the Mersin University Hospital Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic in 2020, and I can't forgive the psychiatrists there. Five years have passed, and I curse myself every night because of them!
A complete disgrace, chaos, and horror.
The pharmacy told me that the medication wouldn't be enough to stop our patient's bleeding. The assistant I mentioned was so mediocre that he asked, "How can a …
There are very irresponsible secretaries, people are suffering a lot, we are fed up, people who give appointments work for 30 minutes, then run off for a 1.30 hour break and disappear, please help.
I was shocked. My daughter (17) came to this hospital via the emergency room after a serious car accident.
She literally lay in the hallway for hours until a family member came and paid …
The elevator is inadequate; people are crammed together like refugees crossing the border to get to the upper floor.
When the elevator stops, we think we've arrived at the Bulgarian border.

The people on the phone are transferring from one place to another, none of them know anything, they all say the same thing, it keeps ringing, nobody answers.
I don't know about the professors, the healthcare seems good, but the hygiene and toilets are terrible. There shouldn't be such dirty toilets in a hospital.
The assistants and doctors are very problematic. There is an unbelievable lack of care. Absolutely do not take yourself or a loved one to this hospital.
The services provided were top-notch, and the information and guidance from our doctors and other staff were excellent. Thank you to our university.

I would like to thank everyone involved, the friendly hospital staff, the doctors, and all the employees, including those who were not working.
Mersin University Faculty of Medicine Hospital is a busy place. People wait in line for hours in the emergency room. There's little interest.
It's a really damned system. The secretaries at the polyclinic don't answer their phones. They put the phones on the table as decorations.
My mother is receiving treatment in the oncology department, and I would like to thank all the staff; they are all very attentive.
My satisfaction with a doctor who directed me to get vaccinated instead of getting tested in urology ended before it even started.

The place where you can get the best healthcare service in the city despite everything
Emergency doctors provide explanatory information, at least that's what we thought.
It's very nice, the doctors are caring, the staff is friendly and attentive.
What more can healthcare workers do? They are working with great dedication.
The staff is polite and especially the security team is good at directing.
The hospital's service is excellent and it's clean, but the wait is long.
This isn't a hospital or anything. It's more like a guinea pig center.
We got the job done, it was good. I wish all the employees good luck.
This is the healthcare service provided by the state. No comment.
We try to make an appointment, but they hang up the phone on us.
Normal and intensive care as required by the research hospital
