There are many areas of the hospital that need full cleaning and renovation. Doctors' jobs are very challenging, both in terms of motivation and because they spend all day examining and treating patients in windowless, airless rooms. The hospital staff (doctors, assistants, nurses, caregivers, etc.) are very caring and understanding.
Absolutely terrible. We had tests done for my nephew. They told us to come back in 15 days. When we went in, nobody knew anything about anyone else. Half the test results were out, half weren't. They said they needed to report it to the IT department and kept postponing it to the next day. Healthcare in Türkiye is zero.
The nurses at the infectious diseases department's nurses' desk are neither helpful nor do they answer our questions. Despite our attempts at polite and courteous communication, they respond with ridiculous ego, making snide remarks and hanging up the phone on us. I hope the rectorate takes this into consideration.
May you die in peace and quiet!!!. Don't be sad at all, you're not going to go this way, you're not going to go that way, you're not going to go the other way, it's this, it's that. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get information about the brain tumor for 3-4 minutes. (I drove 300 km BY THE WAY). Shame on you!!!.
May God protect everyone from such a situation. Most of the staff seem to be working for free, just wanting it to be over so they can leave. However, the staff in the Children's Hospital laboratory are wonderful people; we always have to use the toilets for urine tests, and they're always filthy.
This is ?zmir's best training and research hospital, staffed by dedicated healthcare professionals. It has a very large campus. The only issue is the lack of sufficient parking space. It would be wonderful if an underground parking garage were built and the current parking area were landscaped.
I'm being treated at this hospital. The nurses and staff wear the same uniforms. The staff acts like nurses and doctors. We can't tell who's who. I honestly don't know if they'll implement a different uniform or just a different badge. This is a situation that absolutely needs to be resolved.
At Ege University (department of general surgery), surgeries have not been performed for a week because there are no systems. We have a cancer patient, it is not clear when his turn will come. Even 1 day is important for such a disease, but the repair of the system should not take this long.
Don't come, stay in a tent for this money, there are more opportunities. We struggled to survive in the hotel. The food was very bad. The refreshments were both stale and cheap. There was a stretcher in the room. I gave one star just to publish it, it doesn't deserve that either.
The rooms are very clean, and I think I will choose this place every time I come to Izmir from now on. The service is exceptional, and the staff are very friendly, especially Mr. Murat at the reception, who was very helpful to me; I would like to thank him separately.
My lip burst and I'm an "URGENT" patient, but they said there's no doctor, and it's been 2 hours and still no one has come or heard anything. I'm an "URGENT" patient and there's no doctor, sounds like a joke, right? In one word, it's a disgrace, we're still waiting.
Unless you're bedridden, you'll receive the best possible treatment. If you're bedridden, you'll have to tolerate the filth and indifference of the nurses. The beds are truly smelly and torn. The doctors are very qualified and attentive, according to the doctor.
It's an absolutely terrible place. You can't get a turn in the emergency room, and when you do, you're treated and looked after on an outpatient basis. The hospital is incredibly clean; everything is filthy. The doctors and nurses show zero interest or concern.
I'm addressing the doctors and the chief physician of Ege University Hospital: Have you ever visited the toilets in the children's outpatient clinic? I suggest you do, and see how many diseases can be transmitted there!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the children's ward.
Ege University Hospital is conveniently located near Bornova Metro Station, making it a convenient transportation hub. The metro line provides easy access from the city center. Various bus lines and minibuses also provide transportation to the hospital.
Despite all the difficulties, it has managed to remain a healthcare center. However, judging by the rate at which it is losing its talented faculty members, it seems likely to lose this value very soon. I hope they can manage to stay afloat...
We went to the blood collection unit for blood and urine tests requested by the Pulmonology Department's premium examination unit. We met a lovely nurse named DÖNE, who works in the collection department. If I remember correctly, she's from …

We could not find any information desk on site. There were signs everywhere saying "This is not an information desk". Written directions were insufficient. You can find your way by asking someone you think is a hospital employee.
They only get one star for having a very good team of doctors. The rest is just talk; neither the system is good, nor the operating rooms, nor the wards, nor the elevator, nor the hygiene – everything about it is flawed.
I've never seen such a disgraceful hospital in my life. They don't even bother to bother with the hospital. The whole place is filthy, there are no doctors to care for them, they're all students, it's a disgrace.
The doctors and nurses working in the plastic surgery inpatient department are very caring and hardworking. The hospital food is delicious. It's the first time I've seen hospital food that tastes this good.
The doctors are the most successful doctors in Izmir, the reason I deducted one point is because it is a research hospital and you are treated like guinea pigs, so be it for your health.
