AIIMS holds INI-CET January 2027 session on 1 November; result expected 7 November

AIIMS New Delhi conducted the INI-CET for the January 2027 session on 1 November 2026, the combined entrance test for MD, MS, MDS, DM and MCh seats at the Institutes of National Importance, which Careers360 lists as eight AIIMS campuses, JIPMER, PGIMER and NIMHANS. Admit cards were released on aiimsexams.ac.in on 26 October 2026, Careers360 reported, and the same outlet expects the result on 7 November 2026 as a PDF merit list, with scorecards for qualified candidates to follow on a date not yet announced. Registration opened in mid-September and closed on 13 October, according to Careers360, which puts the session at 872 seats.

Medical Dialogues reported on 31 October that the computer-based test has 200 questions over 180 minutes in four separately timed 45-minute parts of 50 questions each, with single and multiple correct choice formats, one mark for a correct answer, minus one third for a wrong answer and zero for unanswered questions. Each part auto-submits when its time ends. Ties are broken by fewer negative marks, then higher qualifying degree percentage, then older age, then alphabetical order of name. Seat allocation is online through the institute-wise synchronised system, with at least two rounds followed by an open round.

Candidates should watch aiimsexams.ac.in for the result, scorecard and counselling notices.
