Not too long ago i gradated from an online qualification through UON. My time here was positive and enjoyable to say the least. The staff and academics where mostly of a very high quality and provided a quality education. My only gripe was that UON scraped Theology both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Meredian Alam

I undertook my PhD in Sociology and Anthropology at this university and was provided an excellent world class research facilities: 24 library access, helpful faculty librarian, postgraduate individual air-conditioned workspace, trainings and workshops from world's leading overseas professors, and counseling.

Marina Sabrin

Its the worst University With the worst service. They do not acknowledge students distress, they do not process anything properly. Takes ages to get back to an enquiry with useless information. Keeps on emailing about fees whereas does not update account. My two years gone to waste. Waste of money and time.

Will

The University of Newcastle, Australia made repeated false claims that I owed in excess of $9000 in tuition fees. I had to go to the National Student Ombudsman (NSO) in an attempt to resolve the issue. Prospective students should be aware that this is an institution that acts unethically.

catherine thorburn

Waiting waiting waiting- Finished my Master of Mental Health in Aug 2021, due to CO9VID was unable to go to graduation. Its now 5th March and I continue to wait for my Parchment. Sending e-mails that are getting ignored. Told this would be here end Feb-waiting waiting waiting waiting.

Joshua

Very average university. Lots of international students and other resident Newcastle people going to it. Library is okay, too busy as usual. Cafe and eateries are nice. Don't know about the dorms. Lecture quality is very average from my experience.

Horrible place with horrible staff who are hate disabled people! If you read this and are thinking about going here please avoid for your own sake. Their are better and cheaper uni's in Australia and the world. Go elsewhere you will do better!!!

Lovely campus with adequate food outlets for the student population. Very modern campus. Signage with with instructions could be improved though. My first time on campus, I got off a bus stop early and spent about half an hour wandering around.
