There are few places for the many people seeking care. In the morning, the receptionists are not friendly; even in the cold or rain, they schedule appointments for 6:30 am, but they only open at 7:00 am. They lack the humanity to open earlier to accommodate more people. However, the doctors' care is very good.
I always pass by; it's a well-maintained space and the building is imposing. However, the spikes on the wall on Avenida Doutor Arnaldo are literally digging into the trunks of some trees. Couldn't they fix that? It's incompatible with the beautiful garden. That would make it a 5-star visual rating.
The best medical school in Latin America and the Southern Hemisphere. There is no doubt about its excellence, not only in teaching, but also in research and patient care – values ??that are cornerstones of any university in the world. And on top of that, it's a high-quality public education!
In addition to the Faculty of Medicine, professors, doctors, and students offer courses to the community, such as the Kids Save Lives Brazil Movement, a USP project that teaches young people basic life support practices for individuals experiencing cardiorespiratory arrest.
Unfortunately, I used the UPA (Emergency Care Unit) service, ended up spending the whole day there, and to make matters worse, there was a shift change and the team that took over spent more time going around in circles than attending to patients. It was regrettable.
Huge parking lots that remain closed and underutilized on weekends and holidays. They could be shared with the public on those days to make the city more welcoming. Excellent place to stroll with young children, go for walks, and do other outdoor physical activities.
