Ghana health ministry opens 36th batch recruitment of doctors and dentists; portal closes 29 October
Ghana's Ministry of Health has opened recruitment for its 36th batch of medical officers and dentists, in a public notice dated 25 October 2026 that GBC says was signed by the ministry's Chief Director, GBC and Pulse Ghana reported on 26 October. The online portal at mohrecruitment.com opened at 10:00 on Tuesday 27 October and closes on Thursday 29 October 2026, a window Pulse Ghana describes as just two days.
Only medical officers and dentists who have completed housemanship and been verified by the Medical and Dental Council may apply. Applicants select their preferred districts and agencies on the portal. The ministry says the exercise is meant to fill staffing gaps in health facilities across the country, describes the process as transparent and warns applicants not to make any payment in connection with the recruitment or to deal with people offering help for money.
