I found King’s College London such a quaint place to visit because it has all the historical royal memorabilia such as paintings, sculptures and photographs. The architecture of the building is from the old school of thought which makes it an heritage site of great value. One also found the chapel to be the most serene place to pray in.
Very organized campus with unique collegiate system. Student accommodation is clean and comfortable. There are laundry shop which includes washing and drying in access. There are seminar rooms, library, learning zone and computer rooms for group and self study. Im doing my second year and enjoying my time here in Lancaster University <3
I had my master degree in project management in 2005. Though the time was short, it was a great experience here. So exited that I am coming back to visit the campus as a tourist next week after my graduation 15 years ago, with my wife, who also graduated here, and 2 kids! Can't wait to see the campus again. Must changed a lot!
A lot of disgruntled and rejected applicants by the looks of these reviews. KCL is often ranked in the top 10 and has produced some notable alumni. It also has a great history and architecture, not to mention its prime location. Give credit, where credits due. There are many fantastic institutions in london and KCL is one them
Spent 3 years of my life in the physics basement back in 2000 and I enjoyed it enormously. The place has been transformed since then and it is now quite beautiful. Moving the cantine from the basement to the first floor, next to the chapel, was a great idea. I'm always enthusiastic about going back there to visit colleagues.
The Medical School is part of the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Attached to the Royal Hallamshire, the Medical School contains two large lecture theatres and lots of other teaching spaces. There is a cafe near the main entrance, and good facilities for medics who spend long periods of time there.
I attended St John's for a 2 day course so I didn't get to see much of the campus or the university. What I did see really impressed me. It's a really big, clean campus with a great layout and a lovely cafe/take away and an amazing canteen. I've heard it is a first class university who really look after their students.
Went to the SU for the first time since reopening, sat in the outback. There was great service, easy to order via the app. I only wish there were more veggie options with food! And it would have been nice to have more sheltered seating areas, we ended up sat in the rain. Though would have been lovely in the sunshine :)
King’s College London offers an inspiring academic experience in the heart of the city. Historic buildings blend with modern facilities, creating a vibrant learning environment. Supportive staff, diverse students, and strong research culture make studying here intellectually rewarding and professionally empowering.
The reception/concierge at the main entrance has extremely bad attitude in checking in students attending evening language classes even though it’s a problem of the school not having properly arranged the student ID. His aggressive attitude annoys me so much that I am not sure if I am welcome to be a student here.
