I spent 32 hours without food or drink because I was told I would have a surgery to drain an abscess (procedure itself generally takes 30-40 mins). After all those hours I am requesting to get transferred and the head nurse is rejecting the notion. I thought NHS was bad, this is a disgrace… I’m being treated like a 3rd class citizen.
Great place of science, has various activities, like garden of science, on Fridays there are guided tours for trees or statues around the institution, if you want to have a walk in the institute you need to come by foot open from the early morning till around 5 pm, if there is a special event gates are closed for public visitors.
Medically and clinically very good, staff very pleasant and helpful. Site is poorly signposted and difficult to find the department you need on first visit if you're not familiar with it. Parking very difficult and quite expensive. Good selection of on-site retail outlets in the mall. Views over surrounding area are breathtaking.
The admissions unit has absolutely no idea of what customer service is. They don't switch the numbers, and then start screaming that everybody must be waiting outside "to prevent corona". People are cramping at the doors, and once you make a request, they barely move and continue chatting with the colleagues or on phone.
My experience began with great trepidation and ended with a triumphant cheer, hugely praising Prof. Uzi Yizhar, cardiothoracic surgeon, Davidson Building, 12th floor. Surgeon by the grace of God, an amazing person, thank you Prof. Yizhar ??? (in the public service, because he is not willing to work in the SRA) …
I did a degree there, the tuition is not worth the money.
You pay almost 40 thousand shekels, for something that is unrealistic. For 40 thousand shekels you can do a lot of other things.. Waste of time. Go study wherever you can. If you are good, you will be good everywhere, not because you studied there.

I have nothing but good things to say about Hadassah Ein Kerem. My wife only goes here to give birth, great experience with the staff there and now, 2 days ago, I went through back surgery, due to having a split disc! Staff is wonderful, the hospital is clean and over all has been a great experience!
I lost my had high blood pressure medicine, they wanted to charge me NIS 2300 for a prescription for Losartan the most used and les dangerous than aspirin drug there is. Israel is a great country, but if this is all it has to offer its people when we come to visit then they have some thinking to do.
