  1. Confirm the World Directory entry F0000921 yourself at wdoms.org; the entry describes the school as it reported itself, not its recognition anywhere.

  3. Ask your own home regulator, in writing, whether a degree from The Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School is accepted for licensing at home (for Indian students: the NMC requires the whole course, internship included, at the same institution).
  4. Get the fee schedule and admission letter from the school's own office, not from an agent, and pay only to the school's account.
  5. Search the agent, consultancy or website you are dealing with on the fraud alerts page before paying anything.

What we can confirm

  • Listed in the WHO World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS ID F0000921) β€” you can verify this independently on wdoms.org rather than take any agent's word for it.

Verify before you pay anyone

  • Recognition and licensing rules change over time. Re-check the current NMC-eligible colleges list and this country's regulations for Israel yourself before paying anything.
  • Never pay an agent or "seat reservation" fee in cash, or before you have a signed offer letter directly from the university.
  • A guaranteed admission, a discounted "management quota" seat, or pressure to decide within 24 hours are classic pressure tactics β€” slow down and verify independently.
  • Confirm the medium of instruction, hostel/food costs, and total multi-year fee in writing from the university itself, not only from an agent's brochure.

I spent 32 hours without food or drink because I was told I would have a surgery to drain an abscess (procedure itself generally takes 30-40 mins). After all those hours I am requesting to get transferred and the head nurse is rejecting the notion. I thought NHS was bad, this is a disgrace… I’m being treated like a 3rd class citizen.

Yitzchak Freeman

Medically and clinically very good, staff very pleasant and helpful. Site is poorly signposted and difficult to find the department you need on first visit if you're not familiar with it. Parking very difficult and quite expensive. Good selection of on-site retail outlets in the mall. Views over surrounding area are breathtaking.

Hanna Sloutsky

The admissions unit has absolutely no idea of what customer service is. They don't switch the numbers, and then start screaming that everybody must be waiting outside "to prevent corona". People are cramping at the doors, and once you make a request, they barely move and continue chatting with the colleagues or on phone.

My experience began with great trepidation and ended with a triumphant cheer, hugely praising Prof. Uzi Yizhar, cardiothoracic surgeon, Davidson Building, 12th floor. Surgeon by the grace of God, an amazing person, thank you Prof. Yizhar ??? (in the public service, because he is not willing to work in the SRA) …

Linda Yuter

This is for Alan Yuter who was a patient in the orthopedic ward. It my pleasure and duty to call attention to the magnificent personal care given to me by the nurse Mahmood Rashbi in a very difficult situation. Mr Rashbi made a difficult situation more tolerable. He was gentle, kind, and committed.

Netanel Riter

I have nothing but good things to say about Hadassah Ein Kerem. My wife only goes here to give birth, great experience with the staff there and now, 2 days ago, I went through back surgery, due to having a split disc! Staff is wonderful, the hospital is clean and over all has been a great experience!

Elazar Pimentel

I lost my had high blood pressure medicine, they wanted to charge me NIS 2300 for a prescription for Losartan the most used and les dangerous than aspirin drug there is. Israel is a great country, but if this is all it has to offer its people when we come to visit then they have some thinking to do.

??? ?????

Horrible team, they make sure to give you the longest wait, they always make sure to take you out, and they also come to you in a criminal manner as if we are not okay. Before you come, pay attention to when you were scheduled and when you actually enter the queue. Not recommended.

Hadassah Medical Center is an Israeli medical organization established in 1934 that operates two university hospitals at Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus in Jerusalem as well as schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, and pharmacology affiliated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The service was beyond reproach. We waited 5 hours for the oral and maxillofacial doctor and another 3 hours for a discharge letter, claiming that the doctor still hadn't written the letter, and then they couldn't find her in the hospital. In short, one big heartbreak!

Ruth Feygel

For some reason, when I try to enter the Hadassah website, the page doesn't open, it says that entry is prohibited. What did I do wrong that they won't let me enter the website - a good question. The hospital itself has no complaints, just that they fix the website.

This is a city within a city, it's not clear where you need to go, there are no organized direction signs, the emergency room is atrocious, they don't know how to manage things. It's a real shame. This is the last hospital I would go to if I had to. From experience

Inge P Shahia

Bus 29 goes directly to university. Security explains how to get to the Information Desk. Chagal office clerk takes 10NIS/p, takes you to univ.synagogue, puts on CD with comments (your choice of language) and leaves you to enjoy Chagall windows. Magnificent!
