I'm studying History at one of the best public universities in the country!! The professors are qualified, and of course, there's still a lot to improve the infrastructure, but we must keep in mind that it doesn't depend solely on the university but on the entire political context. However, it's definitely worth it!!!!
This campus houses the administrative units of UFPI (Federal University of Piauí), which are organized into Central Bodies and Teaching Units. These units accommodate 56 of the 97 courses offered by the university. It is the largest campus in Piauí and offers both stricto sensu and lato sensu graduate programs.
It's no use offering an excellent structure if the teaching isn't satisfactory... The only negative point is the online courses, which leave much to be desired, since in a Nursing course it's inappropriate, not to say immoral, to put such important subjects in an online format. For this reason, I don't approve.
Since the change in management, things have been disappointing, with a lack of care for current and former students. The prices for documentation and tuition are absurd, there's a lack of communication and customer service. There's been a total disregard for those who need administrative services.
It is a benchmark in higher education: undergraduate, specialization, and master's programs for the entire state of Piauí. I was a student in a specialization program and it greatly enriched my knowledge. The courses are offered in face-to-face, blended, and distance learning formats.
A great hospital (HU) with everything of the highest quality. Congratulations to Dr. Ednaldo Rocha - Ophthalmologist - for his care. A perfect score for the humane treatment he provided to each patient. He spared no effort, attending to everyone, even after well past his working hours.
Why does this hospital keep a patient hospitalized for so long just to insert a catheter? This makes the patient worse if they stay in the hospital for too long. They must see so many things, and it's a disregard for the patient. I am outraged by the wait to have this exam done.
Federal University of Piauí – Floriano Agricultural College, among the most competitive technical courses in terms of grades in the Northeast region.
The Federal University of Piauí is the 2,286th best university in the world and is among the 50 largest in the country.
The college has an impeccable physical structure, a bibliographic collection that puts it on par with the best in Brazil, and a very spacious and well-air-conditioned auditorium! The only criticism is regarding its location, which is a bit far from the city center!
After UNINOVAFAPI was sold to the Afya group, students are no longer heard. Our medical course, for example, used to be excellent. Today, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The quality today is not, and doesn't even come close to, the value you pay!
