It's a good university, but although the parking has improved, it's insufficient as the university continues to grow. As for the food areas, it's simply shameful that a university founded to train people in the health sciences has such a poor, not to say terrible, food selection; it's a clear example of the country's inconsistencies.
A private university founded in 1977, currently reaccredited for high quality, offering undergraduate and graduate professional programs, as well as various continuing education courses (especially in the health sciences). It has campuses in El Poblado (main campus), Envigado, Sabaneta, and the municipality of Apartadó.
The gray building stands out in the city center. The university is quite large, with its administrative headquarters, legal clinics, and master's degree classrooms all located nearby. The area has plenty of shops and restaurants; recommended places to eat are the beach market and a food market along the tramway avenue.
It's an excellent university. I completed my Master's in Business Administration there, and the quality of the professors, the facilities, the student life, the classmates—everything was outstanding, and I learned a tremendous amount. I highly recommend it for postgraduate studies in administration.
