The worst student services on earth. My god, these people work 3 hours a day and refuse to answer emails. I can’t imagine an easier job, sitting around all day refusing basic inquiries. I’m so tired of this university, I’m looking forward to never having to see this place again.
Kindness isn't a given; you call for information and they answer annoyed.
They're also incompetent; not even the people who work there know the rules. Depending on the student asking for information, they give different answers (according to which criteria only they know).
Shameful in a NEUTRAL country!
Respect over 700 years of neutrality, a source of national pride, and respect Swiss citizens who wish to remain NEUTRAL... or get out and "courageously defend" your ideas on the ground, not just with banners while staying warm and well-fed!
A very beautiful university campus, surrounded by greenery and featuring modern, interesting architecture. The buildings are surrounded by gardens; they're quiet on weekends and busier during school hours. Not being a student, I can't comment on the university's value.
It is incomprehensible to me that an educational institution that is partly funded by taxes tolerates and condones criminal behavior. Personnel consequences for such behavior are inevitable, regardless of the political narrative among the institution's attendees.
I delivered metal structures for the construction of a new building for the University of Lausanne library... I couldn't find the entrance to the construction site... Thanks to the university security service for escorting me to the unloading site!
Hostet the Swiss SSPH+ Summer School, with a lot of international students coming. The teaching rooms, study,areas, mensa etc were good. Walking distance from the main train station and city center. A supermarket nearby would have been convenient.
