There are robberies inside the university. They have a locker where students can store their belongings, and they were being robbed. The bad thing is that the security guards themselves know about it and do nothing to improve the situation. The university is the same. They have good security, but the cameras don't work. It's ridiculous.
It's a lovely, peaceful place surrounded by nature, located on a hill with an entrance on Paicavi Street, crossing the Las Tres Pascualas lagoon via a bridge that leads to the main entrance. There's another entrance on Lientur Street for both vehicles and pedestrians. Plus, there's a beautiful view towards Concepción and the lagoon.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best. I filed a complaint with the gender equality office, and they never responded. They said they would call me "on Wednesday," but they never did, nor did they reply to the email I sent them. All this to report something I suffered at the hands of another student at the university.
Poor administration; they give last-minute notices about absences; the shuttle buses are few and far between and have inconvenient schedules; some professors lack dedication and expect us to guess the subject matter. The system is rigged to make it difficult to pass courses so they can squeeze every last penny out of us.
I'm giving them one star because I can't give a negative rating. Honestly, it's disrespectful; they don't care about their students at all. All they care about is money. Education seems to mean nothing to them. I really wouldn't recommend this university to anyone. The administrators are all garbage.
A beautiful university, the largest in Huechuraba. Its natural surroundings make it very special. I have beautiful memories; I lived and shared many years on that beautiful hill. A great atmosphere, very special people. The best moments are in that place and will always remain in my memories.
A place on the shores of Las 3 Pascualas lagoon, accessible on foot via Paicavi Street or by vehicle via Lientur Street, offering a tranquil and excellent environment with controlled access by security guards and temperature checks. The surroundings are conducive to peace and quiet and study.
As architecture, it's simply beautiful. As an academic institution, it's very good, to be honest. At least the quality of teaching in my program is very good; of course, there are some professors who aren't as great, but otherwise, everything is fine. However, the tuition fees are outrageous.
The university needs a thousand and one fixes that have been going on for a long time, such as unfinished classrooms, water pressure issues, the university app crashing constantly, and spending money on lower-priority items, among others. Fortunately, the professors are good (some of them).
A very good medical school at a public university. It offers comprehensive training and a generally friendly atmosphere. I would improve the infrastructure for both undergraduate and graduate students on the clinical campuses and accredit some graduate programs that are not yet accredited.
