The old building is stylish and preserve the harmonious image of Sungai Long by its red brick facade on the other hand the new KB block do not give any positive response to the townscape of Sungai Long, the circulations is bad, the lobby is cramped, the only good thing is the building management team highly pays attention on maintenance.
Nice administrative building. Only problem is no visitors parking within. You can only park in the allocated parking lots by the town council. Make sure to purchase parking coupons, sold at RM 0.50-0.60 per coupon per hour. The parking coupon enforcer can be seen rounding this area and issuing summons so please do not risk it.
Good studying environment, I learned a lot of useful knowledges just after a semester.and a lot of restaurants, mart, beverage shop and other infrastructure around the campus ,the price is very cheap with high quality. And tuition is at medium level, more affordable than many private university.
Great students and lecturers. It's easy to do assignment work with anyone here. Also, the fees are affordable compared to other universities with high rate of getting a job after graduation. Important tip: If you don't get on any lecturer's bad side then your study life will go well.
You will experience more of a high school life than a true university life here, as your campus life revolves around just two buildings. It’s incredibly boring, and there’s almost nothing here. After studying for nearly three years, I don’t …
I’m currently a year 2 student, taking a Bachelor of Building and Property. Just like most of my friends, I spent almost 98% of my uni life in my own sweet home. But you know, you can either choose to complain everyday about the pandemic/ …
Almost 2 years into my journey at UTAR and all I can say is that everything is very down-to-earth here. Although there are not many students in my course, the lecturers never slack off. Staff are also responsive to queries - I once had to …
I am currently a 3rd year student, in which I would say with 3 years experience studying at UTAR and also being a part of many exciting activities that UTAR conducts from time to time for their students, I would say it's really a privilege …
Sungai Long is a relatively large Chinese community with convenient transportation and surrounding amenities. Next to UTAR (Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman) is the Sungai Long morning market (daily) and night market (every Tuesday), offering …
During the open day, there was a woman who kept walking back and forth behind us, I don't know what she was busy with. If she was busy, I wouldn't mind, but sorry, I didn't see her. I only saw her carrying a piece of white paper from left …
As an alumni, I can say the place is relatively okay. New building is fully air-conditioned. Management is okay. Administration is horrible. Staff (lecturers) are cool. Halls are abit weird in terms of their seating (very hard to see from …
I am writing this as an alumni. I'm very frustrated, I'm very busy, OT all days. I'm not free like the administrative utar staff. I cannot pay the convocation fees on time, I ask whether any other solution, but they insist me to I pay on …
The administration staff really need a reality check. Before we arrived on campus, we had given them a call to enquire about some information. The receptionist who had picked up the phone was condescending, curt and inpolite. It was an …
Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Sungai Long campus, nestled in the serene township of Sungai Long, Selangor, has carved a niche for itself as a reputable institution of higher learning. This review aims to provide a comprehensive …
I do not wish to tarnish the reputation of the university as a student here, but it is the university itself that has made me feel strongly dissatisfied. I have been extremely frustrated throughout my studies here, from semester to …
The management system here is terrible. When I had a problem, I went to the office to ask the teacher. I also asked my advisor about the problem, but they just passed the buck to each other and were completely indifferent.
Something wrong with the student affairs staff.
-Failed to arrange course timetable (many times, every first day of new semester I have to go 9 floor to get my timetable, even I've booked the timetable at …
A decent campus to study. Lots of restaurants and mamaks nearby the campus. There's a RM1-per-entry-parking lot just a walking distance from campus. Gym is available as well but there is no cafeteria.
It is a purpose-built campus with surrounding facilities and services that support banking, housing, public transport, shopping and meals for the convenience of the students.
Best uni ever.
Not a good place for university. Bad in administration, service and management handling. Last time they have a campus in Pj but now KL left one campus which is here Sungai Long campus.
Accompanied my father to get vaccinated here, good size hall, free parking(for vaccination only) and next to shop lots with coupon parking space too. Also nearby to marketplace. ? …
Utar management. Please keep remind your students to watch cars while crossing roads. This is public safety. Don't simply cross roads while on handphone. Negligence is unforgiven
i was graduated from Utar Sg Long. Nowadays, service seems bad, admission department has insufficient knowledge and patient to advice the students for their path.
The worst University in Malaysia and the staff very lc.
Government departments require some documents to be taken from UTAR for attestation …
Some students too stupid to cross the road without endangering motorists. One time in the building, one student stupidly bumped against me.
Went there make some enquiries regarding my daughter's tertiary education
They were very helpful and informative.
Very friendly atmosphere
Your choice, my choice, everyone’s choice!
Okay I get it, maybe UTAR wasn’t perfect. It’s not uncommon to hear complaints …
This is a university that has helped many students. The president has good ideas and is positive and kind. It's great.
The area around the campus is well-developed with eateries, supermarkets, clinics, and public transport options. …

You get what you pay, the tuition fees is quite cheap compared to other university.

NZ MUTIARA CAFE AT MEZZAINNE FLOOR KA BLOCK. Selling Nasi Campur and beverages.
Why go Genting Highlands gambling when you can gamble here at UTAR lol
very convenience place, walking distance to restaurant & food stall.
Good place for academic program at very affordable tuition fees
