In terms of rush, it is better than AIIMS. It is well facilitated with all kinds of tests available. Even private tests are cheaper compared to outside test labs. The government Medicine store is at gate no. 7, but it is not entirely free. It is available at a subsidised rate. In terms of popularity, it is nowhere near AIIMS Delhi.
Vardhman Mahavir Medical College was established at Safdarjung Hospital by the Government of India in November, 2001. Its inauguration was done by the then Honourable Prime Minister Sh. Am visiting this hospital since years, Lady Hardinge is beautifully developed for Thalassemia patients, they provide you the best treatment and Thalassemia staff is very nice, I have not seen such kind of staff anywhere, specially the sisters are very polite and kind to the patients, special mention to (Poonam sister)
Vmmc nursing officer grade 2 exam was held on 7 Oct 2018 ....my exam center are oriental collage bhopal I face tio many problems during exam like server automatically unattempt too many questions and and unattempt after attempt questions so I request that plz conduct again exam in all over India...in all centre....
Excellent service but it is very difficult to get appointment on the counter. I reached the hospital at 7 o'clock in morning and till now I am in the hospital. Too much time is consumed due to lines. It will be better fix time for the next visit so that everyone will be relaxed. Thanks for the nice health services.
They do not make urine rutine test but almost all the others are for free of charge for foreigners too. But for this you have to wait maybe up to 2 hours to get the simple because too many people waiting. Depend on the day and time you arrive. Very big hospital and you always have to ask somebody where to go.
VMMC has the facilities of the library, hostel for boys and girls, canteen and mess. The library provides access to the ERMED consortium which provides access to international and Indian journals. Hostel: The college offers hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel has an attached Mess, T.V.
Very huse rush in hospital,in my last visit Dr told me sugar is ok n now today she is asking r u following the diet as ur fasting sugar levels is increased in ur last report. I was shocked n said no Dr told me that it is ok report. I am 8 month pregnant n this happen to me today.
I am a pass-out from LHMC. Unfortunately the place has lost its charm. People who really wanted to teach are retired now. Except for gynaecology and pediatrics department the college has less to offer. I recommend this college only if you don't get a top college in your state.
VMMC and Safdarjung hospital is very good hospital amoung government..Staff is also very cooperative and management is good. Environmental is updated and adopting latest softwares in teaching and also latest equipments in hospital. Although some lacking in fund for research.
