Excellent University to get your degree. Needs improvement on security / tighter access control at the gates. Needs to open up to the community for student led business ventures, borrowing a leaf from Kenyatta University. For instance, ngumbaru school to the less literate on farming, agribusiness, vehicle servicing, plumbing, etc
Considering our Future important we want to be better equiped to get best outcomes. JKUAT as we call it here offers courses in varies level certificate, Diploma, Degree, PHD and Masters.The School is willing to give and offer everything based on its capabilities ensure Safe and good learning for you and Us as Students.
Enough space and lighting, with good ambience and a view at the top that might take your breathe away. A little breeze hits the ground floor often, which is nice during hit days, but you don't wanna be caught on a chilly afternoon. Could use more directional signs and labelling due to it's massive size and complexity.
In terms of academic excellence JKUAT is exceptional but a few rogue administration staff have made me personally have the most negative and to say the least distasteful view of the institution. Having to deal with the academic registry and the student finance department has left me utterly frustrated.
Jomo Kenyatta university is an exceptional place and institution. The only problem I would have is with the security personnel. Those guys sometimes would talk not nicely I would say . Maybe that would change. But overall it is a great place to study and it's education levels are so exceptional.
Its a very good university. It has a lot of lively and friendly people. The level of education offered here is also above standards. You can be sure that this university will cater for all your educational and social needs. It is also cheap for students and you can find accommodation there.
Basically I visited the University for JKUAT ENTERPRICES services. The University is huge with Academics and several Research centres including Agriculture activities. I saw a Hospital and a Primary School and some staff houses on my way to the Enterprise section within the campus.
Rude staff, no support at all for students or alumni. Wait until you need your transcript corrected. It will take months and its a back and forth issue with staff being ride to you wheareas is their mistake. My experience has really been bas as a student there and as an alumni

This is a higher learning educational institutions. The people here are welcoming. The environment is full of adventure, having different architectural designs within the school, from ponds, to bridges, to a botanical garden, to various parks and even gardens.
