If I could give negative stars I would. ER was great the staff/nurses. My night nurses were great. Day shift/ infectious disease dr/ patient advocate Kate- was terrible! Never would I go back. Infectious disease dr said I was wasting my insurances money, why and how did I get here, no breakfast or lunch served. Never will I go back!
I went to KU yesterday the nursing staff the doctor were rude to me and I don't think that's how you approach a patient.. didn't feel like my questions were answered and my paperwork had the wrong dates on it and acted like typos or no big deal they are when you're getting medical stuff done especially when it's their fault.
I use KU med for most all my Healthcare. I trust them to do the best they can, and to be thorough. All their departments work together as a team. It's immensely helpful to have all of your doctors communicating with each other. I have a complicated medical case, and I have always received the best of care with KU Dr's.
Doctor Kinman. was my Doctor. Operated on my neck when I went to them. I had full use of my left hand now I have no use of my left hand. Operated on me on Tuesday seen him on Wednesday morning for 20 seconds. Didn't see him for 2 months.said my hand would get better and has not I wouldn't use him again he sucks
Waited 6 months and drove 4hrs for a 45 minute Neurological appointment for my wife. Dizziness, passing out, walking sideways. No tests, no imaging. Didn't do anything our other doctors haven't done. Dr said referral for seizure doctor but he has records and tests that show negative for seizures.
More than 5 stars! The nurses on ICU-5 went above and beyond for my father, especially Nurse Brad ?????????? All the staff were friendly and kind. We didn’t have to wait when discharged for meds. I have never been somewhere where time, patience and care were given at 110%! Thank you, ALL!
By far the Rudest, most insensitive staff I've ever encountered. I hope no one ever has to deal with them. EVER. Choose a different doctor part of a different system, because even if the doctor is great, dealing with their staff will be unprofessional, racially biased, and disgusting afterward.
I go with my youngest to the child development center at ku med. I couldn't ask for a better place to take care of him! His developmental pediatrician is absolutely wonderful! He not only cares about his concerns he has, but cares for him as a person. Thank you for being there for my son!
I was in the medical ward where all the doctors and nurses were top notch. I can't remember the ward I was in but Clare dr brihm and nursing staff especially Tiffany really went above and beyond and those that were before and after Tiffany were awesome and listened to my needs
Had to stop in on my way through town. Staff was quick with treatment, listened to me with care, and had me on my way with meds in about 1.5 hours. The pharmacy was especially expedient with OTCs that were minimally marked up to provide a terrific value for everyday analgesics.
