Unfortunately, I went looking for a postgraduate course and couldn't find the room where I could be seen in person. I even went from the ground floor to the 3rd floor, asked, but without success; it felt like I was in the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon. I gave up; it seems I'll only get assistance online (via a robot). Lamentable.
I have a negative credit history with this institution, but I can't get in touch through any of the channels provided to negotiate the debt. I've tried phone, email, and online support, without success. I want to settle my debt, but the company offers no means of negotiation. I request urgent contact to reach an agreement.
The location is easily accessible and complies with all COVID-19 safety regulations. The place is spacious, with well-structured classrooms and laboratories. My evaluation refers to the structure and the location itself. I cannot comment on the teaching, management, or staff as I am not a student at the institution.
My experience with this college's support is terrible. Their WhatsApp service for distance learning students is awful. I'm very dissatisfied because when you're enrolling, it's wonderful, they practically carry you on their shoulders, but afterwards they forget about you and don't care, leaving us without support.
I am a PROUNI scholarship student taking a distance learning logistics course, and in less than 2 months I already intend to cancel the scholarship. The online service is terrible, if they even respond, the video lessons are short and the PDFs are long, and almost all the assignments, if not all, are essays.
I was on hold for almost 15 minutes with the Duque de Caxias branch and no one answered, it's incredibly frustrating. Contacting them via WhatsApp is the same struggle. Every time I need to contact the office it takes forever. It seems like things got ten times worse after the group was sold.
The teaching is good. But the service at the administration office is terrible. Few staff members, many people waiting, and the employees chatting, making the wait even longer. They should have more consideration for the students, because without them, they wouldn't have their jobs!!!!
I am very dissatisfied with the university. They assigned me a lot of subjects, absurd fees, and I even had to pay them, only for them to deduct it from subsequent bills. I'm still waiting to see if they'll actually deduct the amount. I don't recommend it. I'm very angry, zero support.
When I studied here, it was a place of learning, a benchmark for education and even for training professionals; nowadays, it has become just a museum. It's a shame that it has succumbed to the old ways of being a culture... it's not even a shadow of what it once was... regrettable.
This Afya group is only concerned with money; students are mere commodities. They can't handle student problems; it's complete disorganization. You graduate and have to beg for your rights, otherwise you'll never receive anything. Run away from any place that has Afya in its name.
