I am from Viçosa, and I have been coming to UFV every day since 1984 because I studied there and still work at this institution. Without a doubt, it's one of the best universities in Brazil. You could live there without ever having to leave, because it has everything. It's like a city. There are good sidewalks for running and many places to stroll with the family, even on weekends. If you go to Viçosa, you definitely have to visit UFV.
