At an educational level, this university has a long way to go. Unfortunately, more is invested in advertising than in research. The university's facilities are good, the new building is very modern, and the teaching staff in some programs is very good, except in some cases where recent graduates are hired. It needs more green spaces.
The university prioritizes money over student education. All they care about is students repeating courses over and over, while professors neglect their classes. The service and response to complaints are terrible. If you're considering studying medicine at Uniboyaca, don't waste your time and money.
A university that rewards mediocrity, where students who are doing well, passing their courses on a regular basis, suffer abuse from professors, administrators, and other students who fail a course three or four times. A university that cares only about money, not academic excellence.
With national and international institutional accreditation, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different fields at a lower cost than similar institutions, with the advantages of being located in a small city with a lower cost of living.
