I didn't have a direct connection to the university, but I have been to the Palmira campus facilities on several occasions, and they are very comprehensive. I took the ICFES exam there twice, participated in seminars, completed theoretical practical training for nursing assistants, and attended events in the auditorium as well.
The educational level is lamentable; some medical teachers leave much to be desired. And those who do not comply with the academic curriculum will only get paid. How is it that there is no dean for the 2024 period? Please review the processes as well as the continuous evaluation.
Congratulations to the University; it's running an excellent campaign and making a great social contribution at a time when health and access to healthcare are a priority. A round of applause for the Santiago University, Palmira campus, and for the Palmira Mayor's Office.
With respect and admiration for the progress of our university, I must make an observation: The university has been characterized by helping low-income students, so why don't they receive the aid that the mayor's office provides to the Afro-Colombian organization?
Terrible vaccination management on November 5, 2021. Lines started at 3:30 p.m. The department's announcements said it was from 5 to 8 p.m., but they started serving patients at 6:30 p.m. It's now 9:12 p.m. And here I am, yet to be vaccinated.
The university is beautiful. We attended a conference, and the facilities are top-notch. They have excellent dormitories and plenty of dining options on campus. What impressed me most were the laboratories and the plaza where the statues …
It's a campus that includes a hospital for medical, physiotherapy, and nursing practices next door. It also has a legal clinic for law students and an excellent court for sports such as volleyball, basketball, and futsal.
The prestigious Santiago de Cali University, with its campus in Palmira, is growing little by little and is establishing itself as one of the best and a major educational benchmark in the Villa de las Palmas!
When we lined up, social distancing wasn't maintained, and when the nurses came in to explain the vaccination procedure, they couldn't be understood. Thank you very much for your attention.
