Excellent, pleasant campus, many areas to study, good cafeterias and restaurants, polite staff, and most importantly, top-notch teaching with bright and airy classrooms; depending on the time of day, air conditioning isn't even necessary, and there are elevators in the buildings for those who need them. The library is very good.
It's always good to go to PUC knowing beforehand about the quality of teaching at the university and its solidarity in granting scholarships to students in need. Today, August 11th, 2022, was a very special day when the Charter for Democracy, drafted by jurists from various parts of Brazil, was read. DEMOCRACY!
I ended up suing PUC... That was in 1988. We had many strikes, there were very big differences between classes and also between professors; perhaps I joined during the worst years of PUC, because it wasn't what was said before and, apparently, more recently. I don't miss it, I barely remember that period.
The communication course at PUC is the most expensive joke in Rio de Janeiro. Haphazard classes, unenthusiastic professors, extremely easy "exams" that require no effort whatsoever. 4600 reais to study in a big joke. If you want a good education at a fair price, PUC is definitely not the place for you.
I visited PUC Rio in December 2023. It's a beautiful university, very well located in Gávea with a view of Christ the Redeemer and native forest within the campus. I participated in an event in the RDC auditorium, which is spacious and well-equipped; the event was a success.
Excellent institution, facilities, and professors. In the exact sciences, it's usually one of the best in Rio.
Very expensive, but every penny spent here should be considered an investment.

It fills me with pride to see Catholic universities recognized for their good work and quality of teaching. The university system owes its existence to the Catholic Church itself. May God continue to bless and protect these institutions from errors and worldly doctrines.
One of the largest study centers in Brazil, with a spectacular structure, both in terms of study and physical infrastructure, in a privileged city and in the center of an Atlantic Forest reserve that inspires all ecological experiences within the modernity of our world.
PUC is a very beautiful university, especially if you go for a walk along the little houses on the back of the university.. there are many trees, beautiful birds and a river that runs through the place.A fresh and happy atmosphere plus a great and complete library.
10/10 WONDERFUL PLACE!! Very organized, the people in charge deserve praise! I took a course there and I intend to take another one, the place is very clean and organized... not to mention the food which is very good! The scenery and the professionals are perfect!
