One of the largest and best universities in the Northeast, a Mecca for students from Paraíba and the interior of several Northeastern states, who form colonies here. Highly regarded in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, as well as various other areas such as History and Sociology, Geology and Architecture, etc. @thomas.bruno
The university is very well maintained and well-structured. It provides a very important service to society, training high-quality professionals in a wide variety of fields. Its shortcomings include the lack of a designated place to ask for information, given the size of the campus, and some incompetent and rude staff members.
Like any institution, it will have excellent and bad employees (teachers). The classrooms are clean and well-maintained (nothing above average). I just find it a little strange that the buildings in the back are somewhat neglected in terms of decoration and renovations, although nothing too important.
Despite its excellent teaching quality and infrastructure, it needs to hire more teachers and manage its teaching and support resources with greater control and care, acquiring more of the latter to keep up with technological advancements, and further improving accessibility.
It's a good educational institution, with excellent professors (some academic narcissists). But in some courses there's a lack of investment, which leads to a lack of materials and equipment for the student to truly learn the practical aspects of the profession.
