One of the best university in Sweden, top notch in some areas of science as well as in molecular biology and plant biology. More than 34,000 students attend hundreds of courses every year and they are from more than 60 nationalities. Beautiful campus and many green areas near cross by well situated bicycle roads.
I spent one semester at Umea university and it was incredibly great and priceless! The staffs were always willing to help you, and there were a lot of programs for international students! Everyone speaks English well, so I bet it will be a great time in case you decide to study at Umea University! ??

As an Erasmus student I can say this is absolutely amazing experience. The campus is stunning, courses are interesting and interactive, expert teachers but their approach is friendly and everyone is helpful. Overall, I would 100% come back.
Have not been studying here, but know many who have. Everyone tell stories of great teachers and how great this univercity is. I have even several colleagues who work at IT department there and reviews from there are also great.
Umea university located in north Sweden provide knoledge regarding forestry and related materia during all academic year. There is a lot of space outside to play, ride the becycle and enjoy the nature all around the campus.
Visited the University Library. Was helped immediately and shown to the right shelves in the archive. Also helped to get started with searching on microfilm. Big THANK YOU to a friendly and service-oriented woman!
So glad I got to do my semester abroad with Umeå university! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the university library is everything you could possibly wish for and more! It was a wonderful experience
