The Western University is located about 7 km west of the city of Tobruk. This ancient and prestigious university is widely known throughout Libya, as it has graduated engineers, doctors, and various fields of life.
Tobruk University was established in 1991 with the establishment of the Faculty of Social Sciences. Now, thanks to God and the efforts of its professors and staff, it includes almost all majors and faculties.
Tobruk University includes the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Natural Resources, and the Faculty of Media.
One of its advantages is that it is a newly established university with internationally accredited degrees.
I graduated from it thanks to God, and it is my workplace and source of livelihood. Praise be to God.
Al-Alamba Castle in Tobruk includes an excellent cadre of highly qualified Libyan faculty members.
