It's so crowded, you need an archaeologist to find the department you want... let's say the cardiologist is on the first floor, the ECG department is on the third, the treadmill is on the fifth floor, you'll have a hard time finding it... If everything was in the relevant department, they wouldn't make things so difficult for people.
The hospital is good, the emergency room is good, but I think some of the assistants and helpers should receive pedagogical training before entering the profession. For example, how does keeping a patient in the emergency room for hours without admitting them affect their psychological state? I think it should NEVER cause harm.
I have been to many medical schools in Turkey and this is the first time I have seen such a bad emergency. In the emergency room, it takes 25-30 minutes for one person to get through the queue. That is, if your queue is around 300, if the screen shows around 110, you have to wait until the morning. I do not recommend it.
Samsun 19 Mayis University is located in Atakum. It's accessible by tram, bus, and minibus. If you're driving your own car, turn right onto the exit while heading towards Sinop. There's a paid parking lot and a canteen. I went to the pathology department, and thankfully, they started work on time and were very helpful.
I had a genetic test done on February 2nd. When I called in early June, they said the results were ready and I could pick them up. I came all the way from Sinop to get the results, but they said they were still working on it. I've never seen such negligence. I request that the necessary action be taken. Sincerely.
There's only one doctor in the pediatric emergency room. It's seriously inadequate. There's no seating area. I saw a child sitting on a blanket on the floor. I went to the hospital with my baby. I had to carry him for two hours because there was no place to sit. A waiting area needs to be built immediately.
I have been to many hospitals and I have never seen such a disgrace to parking lots as here. They have made all the parking spaces available for cars chargeable. They are all concerned with robbing the relatives of the patients. There is no need to explain the canteens. The management system is terrible.
Hospital and healthcare workers may be competent at their jobs, but couldn't there be at least one free parking spot? Everywhere is full of bollards. As a taxpayer, I should be able to park my car for free. You could have spent the money and effort you put into those bollards on providing free parking.
It's a great facility, excellent instructors, but it's frustrating to only get in at 12:00 for an appointment you made a month ago at 9:30, and then have to queue for results in the afternoon! I had an appointment! The only thing the doctor didn't do was point at me and tell me to talk to the manager!
There's nothing harder than reaching the pathology secretariat. Not a single soul answers the phone. I've been calling for two days. Don't even bother putting a phone number or a person's name if you're not going to answer it. What is this? Is this what you call service? Bad management, bad service.
