UNLaR is a public, tuition-free university in the province of La Rioja, Argentina. Founded in 1972, it was declared a National University in 1993. Its campuses are located throughout the province, and its student body exceeds 40,000. Thanks to its excellent academic programs, its graduates are frequently recognized and awarded.
I'm attending a conference at the University of La Rioja. These buildings are riddled with stairs. There are no ramps, and the only elevator doesn't work. Truly unfortunate for people who can't manage stairs or for parents of scientists attending the conference with their young children in strollers.
